Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. today announced its sponsorship of the SMBC (Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation) Singapore Open 2017, which will be held at the Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club on 19-22 January 2017. Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific is also the office printing equipment partner for the US$1 million event jointly-endorsed by the Asian Tour and Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO).
The SMBC Singapore Open is a new platform for Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific to engage with and strengthen its relationships with key customers. In addition to hospitality-related initiatives, Fuji Xerox’s customer engagement activities – to be held at the Fuji Xerox booth in the public village, Sentosa Golf Club – will include a showcase of the company’s latest products/services offerings, including its innovative SkyDesk Media Switch, SkyDesk Media Trek, as well as its newly-launched Smart Work Gateway concept, which allows business users to maximize productivity by linking their devices with relevant cloud services – thus introducing a new way of working.
“The SMBC Singapore Open has gained a reputation as one of the top sporting events in Asia, attracting the world’s best and finest,” said Takayuki Togo, senior general manager, Marketing, Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific. “Our involvement in the 51st edition of the Singapore Open is a great way to kick-off 2017. It’s a small gesture of appreciation to our customers, while showcasing our latest innovations in document management and communications solutions that are introducing new ways of working.”
The US$1 million SMBC Singapore Open tournament, which was last won in January 2016 by Korea’s Song Younghan and gathered around 20,000 spectators, is expected to deliver yet another strong showing from golfing enthusiasts in Singapore and across the region.
