Fans throng to watch superstar Spieth

Crowd-puller Jordan Spieth attracted huge galleries to the SMBC Singapore Open for the second straight day on Friday.

Spectators were four deep around the first tee and lined the length of the opening fairway at Sentosa Golf Club as the world number one started his second round.

The Masters and US Open champion shot 67 in the first round to lie a shot off the pace and the crowd anticipated a master-class from the 22 year old sensation.

Spieth did not disappoint early on with a birdie at the second hole but he missed an opportunity to pick up another shot at the par-five fourth and dropped a stroke at the next hole after finding the greenside bunker.

After six holes, the 22 year old was par for his round and four under for the tournament.
