Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa, a firm favourite with players and officials from previous tournaments, will be the Official Hotel of the SMBC Singapore Open for the next three years.
Closely associated with the tournament since it made its base at Sentosa Golf Club in 2005, Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa will be home for players, VIPs, sponsors and officials during the SMBC Singapore Open in January and in 2017 and 2018.
Located a short shuttle bus ride away from Sentosa Golf Club, the beachfront resort is ideally situated for players used to long journeys to and from golf courses.
The resort offers comfortable rooms, varied dining options, a fully equipped gym and one of the largest freeform swimming pools in Singapore. .

The SMBC Singapore Open, boasting prize money of at least US$1 million, will be played on The Serapong Course at Sentosa Golf Club from January 28 to 31.
It is the 50th edition of the tournament and for the first time it will be jointly sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the Japan Golf Tour Organisation.

As well as accommodating tournament players and personnel, Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa will provide catering services for VIPs and sponsors in the hospitality suites bordering the course.
