Golf equipment maker TaylorMade will showcase their exciting new product range, including the latest high-performance drivers, at next year’s SMBC Singapore Open having come on board as the tournament’s Official Equipment Supporter for a second straight year.
The well-established and highly valued brand plan a series of promotions and product launches to underscore their support for the marque event on the Asian golfing calendar.
TaylorMade Tour player Sergio Garcia will be one of the main attractions at the SMBC Singapore Open at Sentosa Golf Club from January 19-22 and the company will be supporting him in his title bid.
The event provides the perfect opportunity for TaylorMade to launch their latest range of products and spotlight the brand with some exciting activities in the public village.
Spectators will be able to test TaylorMade equipment and balls at a special area on the range while there will also be displays of TaylorMade accessories and adidas golf footwear.
“We are delighted to be part of the SMBC Singapore Open for the second year. The event is the perfect platform for us to showcase our latest products and engage directly with the fans of the game who will turn out to follow the top golfers in action at Sentosa,” said Ms Tan Ying Sze, Commercial Director, TaylorMade-adidas Golf Singapore & Malaysia.
“By launching our new 2017 product during the event week, we can get valuable feedbacks from the golfers. Please check out our experience zone at the driving range to test the latest equipment. We are also very excited that our Tour player Sergio Garcia will be in Singapore in January and look forward to supporting him and seeing how he performs.”
Also, as part of their support for the SMBC Singapore Open, TaylorMade will provide range balls for all players during event week.
The tournament, won in January by Korea’s Song Younghan who edged out then world number one Jordan Spieth of the United States in a thrilling finish, will be co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the Japan Golf Tour.
